Last Wed. was Lane's first Pack Meeting as a Wolf. He was also able to receive his Bobcat Badge then too. He learned everything he needed to know for it so fast. Some of it he knew before he was even 8 yrs. old. He was so excited to be a Scout, just like his brothers. He was lucky enough to have his dad be the Cub Master, and a very fun one at that. George gets into character at Pack Meetings. This month he was an Indian, Chief Cub Paw, and he just loved the long hair-NOT!
When the boys get their Bobcat they get their face painted like an Indian. Lane didn't really like it because of the way it felt. He wanted to wash it off as soon as we sat down. He looked so cute though. Luckily, I was able to put him off until the end.
Lane also got to help in his first flag ceremony. The opening ceremony he was part of the guard and he was able to call the retiring of the colors. What a great first Pack Meeting!
