Christmas time!

What a wonderful Christmas we had! George's daughter, Tiffany, and her daughter, Aurora, came into town on Christmas Eve. Aurora is 3 yrs. old and we haven't seen her since she was about 10 months old. She is such a big girl. Everyone has enjoyed her. Her uncles love to play with her and are so sweet to her. (I wish they were that sweet to each other.) Grandpa loves to spoil her and gives her cookies when her mom says she needs to eat her sandwich. And Grandma is loving to play dress-up and buy PINK stuff. George's brothers, Garth and Stephen, and their families, were in from out of town. We've gotten together with them a couple of times and enjoyed catching up with them. We went to the park on Saturday and everyone, but the brother's wives, had fun playing sand volleyball. The wives had fun talking.

Aurora came to church with us today and went to primary for the first time. Here she is in her pretty new dress.

George is off for most of this week and we are so glad that we will get to spend time with him. This was the busiest season he has had at UPS in the 16 years he's been there. On the Monday before Christmas he didn't get home until 11:00pm. He has worked in Tempe up until the last 2 years and the routes he was on were mostly industrial so he didn't work late. With him driving in Gilbert now, it is mainly residential so he had to deliver all those Christmas gifts. It has been a long Christmas season but we are so grateful that he has a good, stable job so I won't complain.
